Berlin Packaging, the world’s largest Hybrid Packaging Supplier®, announces at Cosmoprof that it will undertake a significant expansion of its Beauty business to establish itself as a top global player in the sector.

Just three months after acquiring Premi SpA, Berlin Packaging has embarked on a path of organic and inorganic growth towards a Berlin Beauty Industries division. It thus intends to become the ideal partner and “one-stop-shop” for companies of any size operating in the beauty industry, supporting them from product design to production, including primary packaging, secondary packaging, decoration, and formula.

By acquiring the young and innovative company Premi SpA, Berlin Packaging has gained its first ally with consolidated expertise in prestige and masstige segments. Its valuable wealth of exceptional skills and experience, combined with Berlin Packaging’s robust services, enables the company to provide a new level of service with enormous added value to its customers.

Berlin Beauty Industries thus arrives at Cosmoprof 2022 with Berlin Packaging | Premi Industries, which presents a wide range of over 1,500 products from skincare solutions to makeup, from fine fragrance to home fragrance, with a strong focus on sustainability.

Refillable and sustainable prestige solutions exhibited at the fair are key products for the company, which presents the Makeup in Glass collection alongside the new Airglass Jar and Foamy 150 ml.

  • Makeup in Glass is a collection of glass packaging solutions for makeup products. It features 5ml and 10ml VIP bottles with a 13/415 neck that can be combined with multiple accessories to cover different application areas. The accessories range from specific products for face and lips, with flocked applicators, to those for eyes and eyebrows, with mascara applicators in different shapes to obtain different performances. This collection allows the creation of beauty sets with a unique design that is also sustainable and recyclable. The glass increases the product’s perceived value and allows a wide variety of decorations to meet all brand needs, including external varnishing and metallisation or different screen-printing techniques, hot stamping, laser etching, inkjet and 3D inkjet.
  • Airglass Jar, an airless glass jar with a capacity of 30 or 50 ml, represents the sustainable alternative to classic plastic solutions: refillable in simple steps and made of glass. Its design allows a final consumer to separate most components and dispose of them correctly. Airless technology protects the formula against external contamination and reduces product waste. In addition, Airglass Jar is one of the finalists for the prestigious Cosmopack Awards.
  • Foamy 150 ml is the first glass packaging for foam formulas in the skincare market, with a premium feel, recyclable materials, and infinite possibilities for decoration. The solution, consisting of the foam dispenser and 150 ml glass bottle, is simple to recycle according to the material because a consumer can easily separate the main components.

The acquisition of Premi Spa marked our official entry into the beauty world. It is the first brick of a great infrastructure that we are already consolidating to position ourselves as one of the most dynamic and innovative companies in the sector and meet any beauty brand needs.
