Our Commitment

We are committed to fostering a workplace with a strong health and safety ethos, prioritizing the well-being of our people and ensuring their safety. In 2023, we launched several new initiatives to further enhance our Health & Safety Culture. This dedicated program was built on effective communication with the support of technology, engaging with and listening to the workforce, and providing clear areas of focused improvement.

Our key initiatives

Vehicle Safety

We have formulated and shared with the regional teams the ’10 Golden Rules’ for vehicle safety in warehouses based on comprehensive staff feedback.

Improved Signage

We have designed customized Berlin Packaging signs to enhance safety awareness and underscore our commitment to safety. Additionally, we have created and distributed posters featuring all team members to foster unity and collective responsibility.

Training

We provide training to our staff on general health and safety risks in the workplace, covering skills such as forklift driving, firefighting, and first aid. We also provide information on safety and environmental procedures and rules.

Safety Competitions

Our Housekeeping Competition involves a comprehensive process aimed at enhancing warehouse safety. From analyzing current conditions to implementing innovative solutions, we prioritize continuous improvement to ensure a safer work environment.

H&S Week

In 2023, we organized our first Health & Safety Week, engaging our internal teams across EMEA in various activities.

Next Year H&S Goals Presentation and Discussion: gaining insights into the Health and Safety objectives set for the upcoming year

We concluded the Week with a survey, providing a platform for everyone to voice their opinions on the year gone by, the week’s events, and their aspirations for next year.
