Berlin Packaging, the world’s largest Hybrid Packaging Supplier® specialising in the supply of glass, plastic and metal packaging and closures, showcases its updated product range for wine market at ProWein. It combines elegant and refined shapes and responds to market trends with innovative and functional proposals capable of enhancing wine and champagne producers’ brand image.

Thanks to the expertise of Berlin Packaging’s design and innovation division Studio One Eleven, the bottles are a clear expression of company’s evolving approach that can be explored at ProWein in Hall 5, booth J56.

Postumia (75cl) stands out among the new products presented at the trade show: an ideal solution for complex wines that seek to distinguish itself through its packaging. It is an evolution of the traditional Burgundy bottle with sharp lines that can offer a sophisticated and easily distinguishable profile. With an elongated cylindrical neck, blended into its angled shoulder, Postumia is the continuing research for design that leaves nothing to chance.

Innovation driven by sustainability was the driver for creation of the new Cassia Evo and Appia Evo bottles, revisited to meet the needs of European markets that focus on lighter weight solutions. In response to customer requests, Berlin Packaging has designed Cassia Evo 750, reducing the weight by 150 grams compared to the traditional version, but without losing its distinctive features.

The elegant profile of this solution, with clean and minimal lines, places full focus on the exaltation of the high-shouldered Bordelais model, which is now also available in capacities of 37.5 and 100cl thanks to an expansion of the range. With its statuesque silhouette, Cassia Evo pairs perfectly with full-bodied and fine red wines.

The slender and modern design of Appia Evo, a conical Bordelais with the characteristics of a Burgundy, also revisited in a new 100 g lighter version presents itself as a sophisticated evolution of the existing lines but does not sacrifice its elegant allure with traditional references. Its contemporary slender shape with the short neck and soft shoulder, enhances the colour of the wine, especially in the white glass version, designed to enhance white wines and rosés.

Aquitania (75cl) closes the flagship collection exhibited at ProWein: from the inspiration of the classic champagne bottle comes a solution that reinterprets its proportions and details, enhancing references to tradition through a solution with an intense colour in its dark shades, perfect to guarantee a secondary fermentation and therefore ideal for prestigious champagnes, sparkling wines and vintage wines.

On March 10-12 at Prowein, Berlin Packaging showcases its collaboration with its partner ProCork, which specializes in the creation of innovative natural cork stoppers designed to match the different needs of wines. Strength of these solutions stems from the exclusive coating designed to allow the proper oxygen molecules passage, ensuring perfect wine conservation and maturation.
Both companies pay attention to sustainability and are committed to sustainable solutions creation that can respond to any market demand.

At Hall 5, booth J56 it will therefore be possible to explore the innovations of Berlin Packaging and its end-to-end approach to the wine market in the spirit of market intelligence and design thinking. This approach allows Berlin Packaging to offer a value proposition tailored to every need and aimed at supporting the customer at all stages of development: from conception, to prototyping, to industrialization, to logistics, to market support for all packaging components, including decorations.
