Kliafa: recreating the iconic PET bottle for juices and soft drinks in glass
Kliafa, a popular Greek-based brand of fruit juices and soft drinks, has been collaborating with Berlin Packaging Greece for more than 20 years. We’re proud of our recent project: the customer wanted to replicate its legendary PET bottle in glass, creating, therefore, a bespoke solution, and we helped them to rethink their packaging in a different material!
Our Studio One Eleven supported the project creating the basic model starting from the PET bottle and doing 3D modelling to ensure the right resistance against inside pressure. Also Berlin Packaging team was paying attention to sustainability when resigning the bottle by making it more lightweight and considering the customer’s needs and the capabilities of the glass producer. Moreover, thanks to our wide global network of suppliers, we found a partner that guaranteed high quality and allowed to optimize logistics.
